The stock market started to party this week — with many of our stocks headlining the event. The first stocks to start dancing were the NASDAQ stocks, should be the hot tickets to own in 2010. Apple (AAPL), Priceline.com (PCLN) and Baidu.com (BIDU) all hit 52-week highs this week. Google (GOOG) joined the party too, albeit fashionably late.
Some of these stars have been around for years. Deckers (DECK) is a fresh face to the party, and jumped from $99 to $120 last month. I’m excited because the stocks that seem to be going up are ones that fit-the-mold (note the table on the right). My favorites to watch this season are Express Scripts (ESRX) and Green Mountain Coffee (GMCR). More about them below.
