Sharek’s Take
David SharekMichael Kors continues to put up exceptional results, yet the stock hasn’t moved up like many have this year. This gives investors an opportunity to increase their positions in anticipation of a huge move the next two years. Last quarter KORS had revenue up 57% and profits more than doubled. The all-important same store sales jumped an astounding 37%. Wholesale sales increased 59% and licensing revenue (for like watches) grew 19%. Euopean sales nearly doubled, and those stores saw 63% same stores sales increases. The numbers point to KORS being the top stock in the market, and there’s no stock close to knocking it off the #1 spot in my Power Rankings. This stock should double within two years.
One-Year Chart
KORS_2013_Q2So 127% profit growth yet KORS only deserves a P/E of 24? This is one of the most undervalued growth stocks I’ve ever seen. The Est. Long Term Growth Rate of 29% is way too low. I bet KORS breaks out after it reports earnings.
Earnings Table
KORS_2013_Q2_EPSLast quarter, Michael Kors’ revenue surged 57% and profits flew ahead 127%.

KORS continues to crush earnings estimates, this time by 12 cents per share.

Annual Profit Estimates
continue to increase. This earnings table is almost all green.

Quarterly estimates look solid and I think these figures are too low.
Fair Value
KORS_2013_Q2_FVKORS is worth 45 times earnings yet has a P/E of only 24. I see a double within 18 months
Ten-Year Chart
KORS_2013_Q2_10yrKORS is up on the ten year chart, but I think the stock should be even higher. The company could grow profits from less than $1 in 2011 to $4 by 2015.

Its easy to look at better performing stocks and think they are worth buying, but Michael Kors continues to show us which stock is best. The company is growing like wildfire and the stock’s cheap. I think KORS breaks out and runs higher after it reports.

Michael Kors is the best stock available to investors. It’s ranked #1 in the
Growth Portfolio and Aggressive Growth Portfolio Power Rankings.
