The stock market finished green on Thursday, supported by declining Treasury yields that boosted investor confidence, although concerns over technology and AI stocks continued to weigh on market sentiment.
The 10-year Treasury yield fell by approximately 10 basis points to 5.09% as investors shifted toward safer government bonds amid concerns about the debt financing and heavy spending of AI companies.
Overall, S&P 500 rose 0.3% to 7,744, while Nasdaq was up 0.1% to 26,713.
Chart of the Day
Here is the one-year chart of CrowdStrike (CRWD) as of September 22, 2026, when the stock was at $250.
CrowdStrike stock has been strong as AI agent security controls is becoming a major new source of demand. The stock has jumped from $111 to $250 since our report two quarters ago. However, I’m not seeing much acceleration in the fundamentals as revenue growth has accelerated just slightly the prior two quarters, from 24% to 26%.
In last quarter’s Earnings Call, the biggest new opportunity was AI security, with AIDR — a product that helps companies see and control how AI is being used — nearly tripling its ending Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from the prior quarter.
CRWD stock has been hot. However, David Sharek sees the stock as overvalued by a whopping 44%.
Last quarter, CrowdStrike reported 35% profit growth on 26% revenue growth, while net new ARR grew 51% year over year.
CRWD is part of the Growth Portfolio.
