My Top Ten for 2011

Here’s my Top Ten investment ideas for 2011. In 2009 I was too conservative as risky stocks took flight. In 2010 I went more aggressive and it paid off with the average stock in 2010’s Top Ten rising 38%. The S&P 500 was up 13%. The market is good for growth.

Below, in the Fair Value calculations Today uses 2010’s profit estimates with today’s stock price. 2011 Est.  uses 2011’s estimate and the P/E I think is fair. The one-year charts are from 2010 Q4 and in these I looked ahead to 2011 when figuring the P/E.

Most stock’s on this list will benefit from rising profits and an expanding P/E. Some stocks were chosen because the economy should benefit energy stocks in 2011. Still, by best bet is tech. Technology stocks are the best stocks we own.
