Chart of the Day
Here is the one-year chart of Datadog (DDOG) as of March 3, 2025, when the stock was at $113.
Datadog delivered nice revenue growth of +21% last quarter, but profit growth is sagging by -11%.
Although the company is a leader in data observability, the stock has been around this price during the past year as 2025 profits are expected to be around where 2024’s were. Investors want profit growth. In addition, these shares are not cheap. The P/E of 64 is rich. Management also said there was a slight slowdown during December.
Overall, this stock does not have much momentum.
DDOG is on the radar for our Growth Portfolio.
