Chart of the Day

Here is the one-year chart of Arista Networks (ANET) as of May 13, 2026, when the stock was at $141.

Arista Networks has introduced its new eXtra-dense Pluggable Optics (XPO) liquid-cooled optical networking system as AI data centers become too power intensive for traditional air-cooled infrastructure.

XPO is an advanced hardware that helps transfer data faster while keeping systems cooler and reduces the amount of networking equipment needed, lower energy use, and help companies fit more AI computing power into less space.

Management stated next-generation AI clusters require faster networking, lower latency, and better heat management as hyperscalers rapidly scale both AI training and inference workloads. Management also said that liquid-cooled optics are becoming increasingly important because networking bottlenecks are now one of the biggest limits to AI performance at scale.

XPO reduces networking racks by up to 75% and saves up to 44% of floor space compared to traditional pluggable optics, enabling shorter cable runs.
