Software stocks have been weak lately as AI can write software too.
Gitlab $GTLB and Confluent $CFLT are growing good, but the stocks are dead in the water.
I may sell GTLB for clients in the coming days even though I like it. No position in CFLT.

Chart of the Day
Here is the one-year chart of Crowdstrike (CRWD) as of June 23, 2025, when the stock was at $492.
In last quarter’s earnings call, Crowdstrike unveiled Charlotte AI, cybersecurity for AI agents. AI agents now have lots of access to internal data, applications, and machines.
In a recent survey, 96% of respondents plan to expand use of AI agents in the next 12 months. These agents need to be reined in using cybersecurity at machine speed, limiting a hackers ability to damage the system.
Charlotte AI is an intelligent assistant that helps users quickly understand and respond to cyber threats by using advanced security data, making it easier for cybersecurity teams to protect systems without needing deep technical skills. Charlotte AI increases Crowdstrike’s total addressable market each and every day, as it is a new product.
CRWD is part of our Growth Portfolio. The stock has been so hot lately that it seems overvalued.
