U.S. Stocks Plunge To End Worst Year Since 2008

The stock market fell on Friday and ended its worst year since 2008 Financial Crisis.

S&P 500 declined 0.3% to 3,840, while NASDAQ was down 0.1% to 10,466.

Here is the one-year chart of Amazon (AMZN) as of December 14, 2021, when the stock was at $3,391. It’s since had a 20-for-1 stock split, so that’s $169 a share.

Amazon serves customers through its online and physical stores with a focus on selection, price, and convenience. The company with its 1.3 million full-time and part-time employees work to deliver hundreds of millions of unique products that are sold by Amazon itself and third party sellers.
