Sell These Big Stock Market Winners Now

The stock market has had a nice run since the election, but I believe we are in for a little correction. The S&P 500 just fell below its 50 day moving average. Typically in strong markets big investors will buy in when the S&P (or a stock in general) falls to its 50-day. When it falls below its often a sign of further weakness ahead.

Also, the stock market has historically offered most of its returns from November through April. The old saying Sell in May and Go Away is because the Summer months are often lackluster.

It’s typical for the market to suffer a 10% decline once per year, thus I feel its good to have a set of stocks you’re looking to buy if they drop in price. But that requires cash.

These five stocks I’m highlighting below are all quality companies, but they all have one thing in common: slowing profit growth. I feel now is the time to either sell some or sell all of these shares.
